# Cupertino Foundation Models for Flutter iOS

> cupertino_fundations_models bridges Dart to native Apple Foundation Models on iOS. Local AI text generation, guided structured JSON, cumulative streaming, sessions, tools and Apple Speech. MIT licensed; no third-party runtime dependencies.

Local generation requires iOS 26+, an eligible Apple Intelligence device, enabled settings, a supported locale and model assets. The plugin deployment target is iOS 15; this does not enable generation on iOS 15. Explicit ModelMode.local + CloudPolicy.never needs no API key or PCC entitlement. Asset setup may need network. Tools and Speech have separate privacy/network behavior.

This is an iOS Flutter plugin, not a standalone Swift SDK or an Android/macOS/web implementation. No custom-model loader, native multimodal image attachment or automatic external-provider fallback is exposed. Guided output needs application validation. PCC requires iOS 27, Apple's managed entitlement, signed host opt-in, policy and availability; the package flag alone grants nothing.
